Q. As a captain, can I know when someone updates their availability for a match?

A. In the captain menu under your profile, select “Receive availability notifications” to receive notifications whenever a player on your team updates their availability for a match.

Q. How do I change a line-up after publishing it?

A. on the App, click the match of interest, and then click the pencil on the right side to edit the match. Then click the Lineup tab in the center of the screen and the pencil underneath the tab in the middle right of the screen. This will prompt you to switch the line-up to draft mode which will make it invisible until you make your edits. Once you are done with the edits, scroll down and click the green “Publish” button to make the line-up visible to the team. When you click the Publish button, you will be prompted on whether you want to send out a notification to the team.

Q. When I publish a line-up, does the team get notified?

A. When you publish a line-up, you are prompted whether you want notifications sent to the the entire team, only folks in the line-up or no one.

Q. Can I check the roster on TennisFolder against the roster on USTA for a team?

A. In the captain menu, select “Receive roster notifications” to receive notifications whenever there is a mis-match in roster between TennisFolder and USTA.

Q. How does a score get recorded after a match?

A. Once a USTA Match updates with a score, it will automatically update the match score on TennisFolder. Sometimes the update may be a few hours later then it shows up on USTA.

Q. How can I fill a practice if we don't have enough players on the team?

A. As a captain, you can request Social Players at your club to fill the practice, or invite sister teams to join the practice.

Q. What are the notes field used for in Practices?

A. The notes field is editable by the captain or co-captain. Typically it may contain information about the practice such as the court reserved or information on how to pair up for the practice.

Q. What are the notes field used for in Matches?

A. The notes field is editable by the captain or co-captain(s). Typically it contains captain’s notes about the match, warm-up courts, etc.

Q. How do food assignments get assigned?

A. The captain sets out food assignments for the season, and TennisFolder will automatically assign the items based on what you have already been assigned so far that season.
